Professor Mishra is now the Vice-Chair of IEEE AP-MTT Calcutta Chapter for 2011 and is an active volunteer of the IEEE AP Society. This award is given in the category of Engineering & Technology for his outstanding research contributions in the areas of Applied Electromagnetics and Antenna Technology.
